Development of Remedial Goals
US DOE, Hanford Site, Washington
Provided senior ecological risk assessment support for Central Plateau and Columbia River Corridor of the Hanford Site (2009-present).
Developed tiered preliminary remedial goals (PRGs) for upland ecological receptors and a process for their application. Performed evaluation of
biointrusion depths to support determination of remedial action and risk assessment approach for the Inner Area of the Central Plateau. Provided senior review and oversight for ecological risk assessment activities the Central Plateau Outer and Inner Areas, and the River Corridor. Developed Hanford-specific soil remedial goals for plants and soil invertebrates based on a large dataset of site-specific soil bioassays.
