Provided PRP oversight for USEPA on large metals-contaminated portion of the Upper Columbia River (2006-present). Highly politically
trans-national contaminant transport site, including soil, sediments, and surface water contaminated by metals and other analytes released from the Teck Cominco smelter in Trail, BC. Developed the conceptual site models describing contaminant fate and the receptor exposure pathways.

Served on independent peer-review panel of the USEPAs ecological risk assessment of the General Electric (GE) Housatonic River Site (2003-2004). Reviewed extensive site-specific analyses of PCB exposure and risks conducted by both USEPA and GE and their consultants. Provided detailed comments and recommendations following a 2 month review period and a multi-day public panel deliberation session.
